KMontá career spans over fifteen years off and on in radio with some of those years in the entertainment business via music and television. The best way to describe her ...SHE LOVES TO TALK & MAKE PEOPLE LAUGH…and that’s what she does for a living. KMontá was an on-air personality for WCDX POWER 92.1 JAMZ in Richmond, VA. She had the overnights on lock from midnight to 6am and was affectionately named “THE LATE NIGHT RIDE OR DIE CHIC.” She was also the stations show prep correspondent, dishing the dirt on your favorite celebs with “KMontá What You Say?” KMontá also hosted the first all female hip hop mix show in VA, “LADIES NITE” with the late DeeJay Peachez. KMontá also expanded her voice as “Keshia James” on urban AC stations WKJS/WKJM 99.3/105.7. KMontá has hosted Straight from the Streets Video Magazine, Karamel Video Jamz, and made her national TV debut on B.E.T’s College Hill and MTV's My Block. KMontá had an internet radio show that she produced and hosted with a local station in Richmond, VA “The Big Love Show,” on WRFE radio. KMontá relocated to Wilmington, DE to be closer to family and start anew in her quest to continue with her passion for radio. After several persistently determined "PLEASE HIRE ME" emails/phone calls in the Tri-State area, KISS 101.7, responded, opening the door for KMontá to return to the airwaves. KMontá represents the plus size community to the fullest and has learned that life is not promised to anyone, so make the most of each day, love yourself, and learn to laugh about things, especially if it’s about you.
