WJKS-FM is Ground Central to four states and specifically targets adults 18-44. WJKS programs a full-service R&B format, playing "Today's R & B, Hip-Hop & Old School.

Examples of artists include: Jay-Z, 112, Missy Elliot, Luther Vandross.  WJKS-FM encourages participation in station activities and response to promotions.

WJKS, KISS 101.7 FM is owned and operated by QC Communication with studio and offices located at the First Federal Plaza Building at 704 King Street, Suite 604, Wilmington, Delaware.

QC Communications purchased the station on July 1, 1997.  QC Communcations is owned by Tony Quartarone (Tony Q).  Tony Q's Broadcasting Career began at New York's WRKS (KISS-FM) where he held a number of programming positions.  In 1985, Tony Q was named Billboard Program Director of the Year and was also awarded the same honor by Gavin Magazine.  He subsequently joined WUSL-FM in Philadelphia, as Program Director in 1986 and guided Power 99 FM to the number one music station in the market!
